Stéphane Mulliez is a French visual artist based in Lisbon, engaged in associations of friends of museums such as the CAPC of Bordeaux, La Maison Rouge and the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. Early 2012, she decides to open an accommodation for artistic creation and chooses Lisbon for its cultural vitality. After more than two years of research, she finally finds her home in the Rua da Junqueira. Its configuration and its location in Belem adapts perfectly to her project. Stéphane Mulliez undertook major restoration works and founded La Junqueira in 2018, a non-profit association under Portuguese law.

La Junqueira residency is a philanthropic project driven by a desire to transmit practices and knowledge between the artists and founder Stéphane Mulliez.
